Jingoro Ramen

Takayama ramen of shrimp noodles that this soy sauce creates a unique flavor. Char siu is also good. Locals and tourists are inevitable!

The chashu in the ramen is the thickest i have ever seen (been to some restaurants that serves chashu that is slided thinner than paper), very yummy ramen and great portion. Also the bowl of beef ($350 yen) tasted so good and cucumber dish ($250 yen) is fresh and simple, both are recommended and must try. Very local restaurant for the Hida Takayama ramen, friendly staff.

Yes, great ramen and a menu with English. We really felt like we're in Japan eating here. Some our best travel experiences have come from eating in small local restaurants, don't hesitate to try this one.
