The chashu in the ramen is the thickest i have ever seen (been to some restaurants that serves chashu that is slided thinner than paper), very yummy ramen and great portion. Also the bowl of beef ($350 yen) tasted so good and cucumber dish ($250 yen) is fresh and simple, both are recommended and must try. Very local restaurant for the Hida Takayama ramen, friendly staff.

Pleasant local restaurant, opens only at 8pm through the night to 2am. Come early if you want to avoid crowds. They have English menu available and all the dishes we ordered are superb. Char siew in the noodles are thick and generous, melts in your mouth. Must try the beef tendon stew. Worth coming to.
